Favorite pastimes:  Bear loves going for walks, jumping in the snowdrifts, playing a little tug-o-war, napping in unusual locations and positions, following people around like a shadow, bopping squeaky toys, and playing fetch!

Good with dogs? Yes

Good with cats? He has met cats on a few occasions and he seemed curious

Good with kids? Older/respectful children would be best for Bear

House Trained? Not yet, but working on it!

Bear is an energetic little dog who is small in stature but big in charisma!  He loves being held, either sitting on your lap, or propping on top of the couch or chair behind you; he simply loves your attention! He also loves playing, both with his people, with other dogs, or all by himself. Bear is always excited to see you, and will squeal and leap with delight whenever you return home! He is a very sweet dog who will add a lot of personality to your home!

*Bear has occasional seizures of undetermined cause. He has received consistent veterinary care for testing and assessment. These seizures are short, harmless, and infrequent. Good Karma has established a baseline level of medication to control the seizures, and this medication will cost approximately $50-$75/month. The dosage needs may lessen over time, and therefore the costs may reduce as well.

My adoption fee is $200. All of Good Karma's dogs are current on heartworm/flea and tick preventative while in foster care, spayed/neutered, and are adopted with all age-appropriate distemper vaccines, rabies vaccine, deworming, microchip, and heartworm test (in dogs over 6 months of age). *Good Karma adopts out animals within a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities, or a 30 minute radius of Duluth and Rochester*

Good Karma Animal Rescue’s approval process includes conducting a home visit before adopters take their new pet home.
